First and foremost, Darin Garman is a husband (36+ years) and father of three who lives in Marion, Iowa. Agent - Isaiah Garman
Isaiah Garman was born and raised in Marion, Iowa, and has been around apartments his entire life. He’s the youngest of two sisters and has proudly earned the title of “Greatest Uncle in Iowa.” Isaiah played football at Northern Iowa and graduated in the Class of 2023, an experience that helped shape his discipline and competitive edge. He’s a proud son who grew up mowing lawns and cleaning apartment units owned by Heartland Investment Partners. Before getting into brokerage, he managed over 100 apartment units on his own and learned the business from the ground up. He now has over two years of experience in brokerage and holds a deep respect for owners who manage their own properties. Outside of work, he enjoys fishing, CrossFit, comics, and shooting. Agent - Trot Carey
I’m Trot Carey. I grew up in Marion, Iowa, and know this market from living in it—not just from the numbers.
I grew up in the restaurant business, which taught me how to work hard and take care of people. I studied finance and practiced football at Upper Iowa University, and now work exclusively in multifamily investment real estate. I focus on honest underwriting, local insight, and long-term relationships.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife, watching college football and the PGA Tour, playing golf, and staying active.
